The City of Milwaukee has a very rich history in brewing. It was only fitting that one of the biggest events of 2018, the Milwaukee Film Festival, have its very own beer. Goodcity Brewing Company, a local brewery, was tasked with creating the Film Fest Lager. As lead designer, I created a can design blending iconic film imagery with Goodcity’s established branding.

Hello Bello is a company specializing in healthy, chemical-free baby goods products at an affordable price. Much of what I created for Hello Bello revolved around social media campaigns and web assets. Hello Bello has recently expanded to several nationwide companies such as CVS, Walmart, and Walgreens. The company has also begun providing goods outside of the United States in Canada and the United Kingdom. In addition to creating assets for the growing company, I also illustrated several of the diaper pattern designs that change seasonally.

The Warehouse Theatre is a local theatre located in downtown Greenville, South Carolina, that for years has brought incredible performances to the community. I was lucky enough to get to work with the theatre in creating posters for the Upstate Shakespeare Festival and printed advertisements for the local magazine publication, TOWN.
Set Design // Paper Art Creation

I developed a new way to highlight new products coming to the Hello Bello line of baby goods. I began designing with paper art and creating unique settings for these products. With the success of the paper art with Hello Bello, I then developed a paper set design for a B Corporation feature on Pete and Gerry’s Organic Eggs. All set elements within the photography were made from colored paper, glue, and a lot of trial and error.

The Cheese Brothers Cheese Company is a family-run group out of Minnesota. For their new line of unique cheeses, Cheese Brothers reached out for label designs. The goal was to create packaging that was fun and full of character, just like the cheeses themselves. The result was a series of illustrated labels all depicting characters and scenes specific to each cheese type.

Smoke Shack has made a name for itself in recent years as THE place in Milwaukee for BBQ. What began as a menu redesign quickly developed into a total brand refresh. I began illustrating menu items in a style that captured Smoke Shack’s unique and “homegrown” attitude. Those illustrations became part of the identity and overall brand experience.
